The Aurora Houn Dawgs dropped to 6-10 overall after their 3-1 and 2-1 losses to Marshfield and Cassville, but they do have some good news heading into their next match against Big 8 Conference foe Springfield Catholic.

“Our biggest problem is playing good soccer possession consistently for a whole game,” head coach Curtis Bishop said, “but we are working hard to find that consistency and put the right chemistry together to help with that. We finally have all our players back we will have this year, so that should help. We have a week off from games that should help us work on those issues.”

The Houn Dawgs welcome Springfield Catholic for Senior Night as the regular season winds down.

Lester Perez scored the goal against Marshfield and Sam Salas the lone goal against Cassville.

After that home match against Springfield Catholic, the schedule includes road treks against New Covenant (Oct. 21), McDonald County (Oct. 22), and Carl Junction (Oct. 24).
