The Aurora Houn' Dawgs and Lady Houns will be underdogs for district play in Class 4, District 11. The tournaments -- to be played at Logan-Rogersville -- will kick off with the first girls' games on Saturday.

Coach DJ Gutscher's Lady Houns (7-16) will be the sixth seed in a six-team tournament, drawing a first round game against third-seeded Reeds Spring (11-13). The two teams met earlier this month, as the Lady Wolves dealt Aurora a 52-37 loss.

Should the Lady Houns win Saturday's game -- scheduled for 2:30 p.m. -- they'll go on to face second-seeded West Plains, which received a first round bye.

On the boys' bracket, Dylan Curtis's Houn' Dawgs (3-18) are the fifth seed out of six teams. Aurora will face fourth-seeded Hillcrest (6-14) at 6 p.m. on Monday. It will be the first meeting between the two teams this season.
