Kelly Lynn Huse, age 45, of Aurora, Missouri, passed away on Monday, January 28, 2019, at the UPMC Pinnacle Hospital in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. She was born March 14, 1973, in Kankakee, Illinois, the daughter of Steven and Diana (Fenton) Carpenter.
Kelly was a1991 graduate of North White High School in Monoh, Indiana and graduated from Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri with her bachelor’s degree. She was a teacher at the Junior High School in Verona, Missouri.
On June 10, 2000, she married Brian Huse in Aurora.
Kelly is survived by her husband of 18 years, Brian; her mother, Diana Goudreau, of Mt. Vernon, Missouri; her father, Steven Carpenter and his wife, Gail, of Taylorsville, Kentucky; two sons, Kris Ward and his wife, Lennie, of Seligman, Missouri and Tim Ward of Monticello, Indiana; two step-sons, Greg Huse and his wife, Tameka, of Decatur, Alabama, and Shane Huse of Springfield, Missouri; one step-daughter, Kala Myers and her husband, William, of Miller, Missouri; six grandchildren, Austyn, Kaydence, Braylen, Alexis, Savannah and Alivia; two sisters, Teresa Martin and her husband, Gary, of Chilhowie, Missouri and Steffanie Tanner and her husband, Mike, of Camden, North Carolina; one brother, Steven Carpenter, Jr. of Sellersburg, Indiana; two step-brothers, Davey Kelien and Matt Kelien and his wife, Christine, all of Louisville, Kentucky and several niece, nephews and other family members.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 2, 2019, at the Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home in Aurora, Missouri. Burial followed at the Clio Cemetery. Visitation was held on Friday, February 1, 2019, in the funeral home chapel.
