Glenna Eileen Willhite, age 79, of Cassville, Missouri, passed away Sunday, July 1, 2018 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.

She was born June 13, 1939 in Garfield, Arkansas, the daughter of James Arthur and Maxine Ruth (Slagle) Crider. On April 6, 1956 in Rdgley, Missouri she was united in marriage to Dale Monroe "Gabby" Willhite, Sr., who preceded her in death on July 30, 1988. Also preceding her in death were her parents and one brother, James Lewis Crider.

Surviving are four sons, Dale Monroe Willhite, Jr., Michael James Willhite, Timothy Wayne Willhite and Matthew Adam Willhite, all of Alaska; two daughters, Tonella Herrmann and her husband, Mark, of Alaska and Tabetha Smith and her husband, Mark, of Wheaton, Missouri; one brother, Steve Crider and his wife, Linda, of Washburn, Missouri; three sisters, Rama Jo Coffer and Karen Garrett, both of Ridgley, Missouri and Ronda Raynor and her husband, Gary, of Jenkins, Missouri; thirteen grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Glenna attended schools in Ridgley, Leann and Aurora. For twenty years she resided in Alaska, where she was a homemaker. In 1990, after the death of her husband, she moved back to Missouri to make her home. Some of her favorite pastimes were quilting, gardening, working jigsaw puzzles, and she was an excellent seamstress.

She was a member of Ridgley Baptist Church, where services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 6, 2018 under direction of McQueen Funeral Home in Wheaton, Missouri. Pastor Tony Ball will conduct the services. Burial will be at Leann Cemetery in Leann.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Thursday at Ridgley Baptist Church.
