John Paul Rooney, age 37, of Marionville, formerly of Mt. Vernon, died February 22, 2010. A graveside service, under the direction of Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home, will be held at 2 p.m., February 26, at the Mt. Vernon City Cemetery, located at the end of McCanse Street. Memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society or the Emmanuel Tails Animal Shelter in care of the funeral home.
