Vivian Gibson passed away on February 22, 2010. Vivian was born and raised in Aurora. She lived and worked in Springfield and St. Louis as a bookkeeper. She moved to Indianapolis, Indiana, in 1952 where she resided until her death. She worked and retired from First Bank and Trust Company, which is now PNC. She was a member of Old Bethel United Methodist Church for 57 years. She also was a member of Old Bethel United Methodist Women and the Faith and Fellowship Class.
Vivian is survived by a daughter, Sharon Danielson (Bob). She is preceeded in death by her loving husband, Richard L. Gibson of 53 years. She also is preceeded in death by mother, Amy Winfree Gregory, and father, Bernard Winfree.
Vivian was a sweet, caring person who will be missed by her family and friends.
We want to thank Sunrise at Fall Creek (now Brookdale Place), The Forum Healthcare Center and Southern Care Hospice for their wonderful care, comfort and concern during Vivian’s long illness.
Funeral services will be at Old Bethel United Methodist Church at 11 a.m., Saturday, February 27, with the calling before the service starting at 10 a.m.
