Carolyn Robbins Henson, age 81, of Verona, Missouri, passed away at 2:20 p.m. on Friday, August 31, 2018, at the Good Samaritan Home Care in Verona. She was born April 9, 1937, in Barry County, Missouri, the daughter of the late Orville and Helen (Vincent) Robbins.

Carolyn was a 1955 graduate of Crane High School. She met her husband Lewis while working at the Juvenile Shoe Factory in Aurora and they were married for 56 years. She was a farm wife, member of the Pleasant Ridge Ladies Club and a member of the Fundamental Methodist Church in Aurora and a delegate for the church conference

On December 24, 1957, she married Lewis Dwayne Henson at Johns Chapel in Ash Grove, Missouri. He preceded her in death on July 17, 2014.

Carolyn is survived by her daughter, Teresa Gentry and her husband, Kem, of Carthage, Missouri; two sons, Ron Henson and his wife, Mary and Randy Henson all of Verona; one sister, Allene Fulp of Aurora; one brother, Wayne Robbins and his wife, Carol, of Marionville; eight grandchildren, Billy, Tamara and Samantha Gentry, Jessica and Bradley Henson, and Gwyneth, Reagan, and Ian Henson; two great-granddaughters, Sofia and Jenovieve and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 4, 2018, at the Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home in Aurora with burial following at the Spring River Cemetery in Verona. Visitation was held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Monday, September 3, 2018, in the funeral home chapel.

Memorial donations may be made to the Fundamental Methodist Church Youth Camp in care of the funeral home.
