Dorothy Dean Nash, age 88, of Aurora, Missouri, passed away at 11:30 p.m. on Sunday, September 24, 2017, at the Aurora Nursing Center. She was born May 9, 1929, in Mt. Vernon, Missouri, the daughter of Will and Ethel (Ware) Berry.
Dorothy was a graduate of Mt. Vernon High School and a homemaker. She served as president of the PTA and volunteered with the 4-H Club and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Aurora.
On February 25, 1950, she married Kenneth Nash, in Springfield, Missouri.
Dorothy is survived by her husband of 67 years, Kenneth; two daughters, Pat Rinker and her husband, Darrell, of Lowell, Arkansas and Betty Messer and her husband, Neal, of Monett, Missouri; one son, Greg Nash and his wife, Sheila, of Aurora; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Her parents, Will and Ethel, and her brother, Gene Berry, preceded her in death.
Visitation was held Wednesday, September 27, 2017, at the Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home in Aurora. Graveside services followed Maple Park Cemetery in Aurora.
Memorial donations may be made payable to the Diabetes Association or the Alzheimer’s Association in care of the funeral home.
