Ellen Jerelene “Jerry” McBride, age 89, of Marionville, Missouri, passed away at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday, May 16, 2017, at the Ozark Methodist Manor, in Marionville. She was born July 31, 1927, in Aurora, Missouri, the daughter of the late John Wesley and Audie Ellen (Gibson) Rimmer.

Jerry was a hair dresser for the Ozark Methodist Manor for 12 years and was a member of the Cornerstone Church of God.

On November 15, 1969, she married Max Raymond McBride, in Aurora, Missouri.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Max; two daughters, Lisa Eubanks and her husband, Gene of Verona, Missouri and Rowena Hodge and her husband, Albert, of Clever, Missouri; four grandchildren, Shelby Eubanks, of Verona, Stephanie Dryer, of Wichita, Kansas, Michael Dryer and his wife, Wendy, of Kansas City, Missouri and Greg Dryer and his wife, Brenda of Republic, Missouri; six great-grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Audie; daughter, Belinda Kay Brashers and eight brothers and sisters, Wesley, Leon, Clay, Gene, Jerel, Mildred, Marie and Dorothy Fern.

A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 24, 2017, at the Williams Funeral Home, in Marionville. Burial followed at the Marionville IOOF Cemetery.
