For staff members at The Aurora Advertiser, one indicator of the calendar marking a milestone is the annual Progress edition.
Staff members have set March 26 as the day the special section will make its appearance.
The purpose of the special section is to give local businesses and organizations a chance to tell their stories of progress. That progress can be something achieved in the past year or from the beginning of the business to now.
The sales staff, which is comprised of Andrea Carden (ad manager), Jeannie Inmon and Paul Ward, is making a list of advertisers to contact.
The deadline for placing an ad in the special edition is March 15.
