Recent items of interest from the Aurora Police Department include the following activity:
On July 23, officers arrested Jeffrey White on an outstanding Barry County warrant for failure to appear -- original charges of possession of chemicals with intent to manufacture and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child first degree.
As officers searched White for weapons, they discovered White was carrying a loaded 9mm Super 12 Parabellum handgun. White was transported to the Aurora City Jail.
On July 27, officers arrested Ashley Crane for an outstanding Aurora city warrant for failure to appear --
original charge of driving while suspended.
Crane also had two outstanding warrants from Lawrence County for neglect of family and stealing.
On August 2, officers reported to
a burglary call in the 100 block of
West Delta. Persons unknown had kicked in the door to the residence. No property was taken.
