Aurora will crown the 2012 Homecoming king and queen on January 13  with senior candidates: (front/left) Emilee Roy, Jessica Smith, Jenna Chadd, (back row) Jesse Galloway, Zack Keckler and Michael Helms. Aurora also will crown a prince and princess. Candidates are: freshmen Landon Decker and Rachel Parker, sophomores Bryant Vaught and Baylee Hilton and juniors Spencer Shreve and Sydney Shoemaker.
Coronation will take place between the junior varsity and varsity games, approximately 6:45 p.m. Games begin at 5 p.m. with a freshman game. Last year’s king and queen Josh Myers and Emily Weldin will assist in the coronation ceremony.
The Aurora Rotary Club also will be hosting its 15th annual chili supper in the commons area of the high school. Tickets are available at $5 per person. For additional information about the supper, call Kim McCully-Mobley at 229-2094. Tickets can be delivered upon request.
