Captain Pat Jenkins, interim police chief for the City of Aurora, has released a list of significant events for the past week. The items include:
• On February 27, local officers arrested Bryan J. Murphy for driving while intoxicated and improper lane usage.
• On February 27, officers arrested Kimberly K. Giraudo on a Christian County probation violation warrant for possession of a controlled substance.
• On February 27, officials from Leitle’s Auto Supply contacted the Aurora Police Department concerning a 1996 white Ford Ranger that had been stolen. Officers with the Crane Police Department contacted local detectives and reported they had located the stolen vehicle. Aurora detectives responded and coordinated the return of the vehicle to its owner.
• On February 28, local officers responded to a tip from the Lawrence County Sherriff’s Department concerning a careless and imprudent driver. Officers arrested Nathanael Wallace and transported him to the Aurora jail. A warrant was issued for felony driving while intoxicated and the misdemeanor driving while license revoked.
