More than 290 students, parents, patrons and guests gathered on May 7 to present awards to the Aurora FFA members.
During the program, Kelsie Young, former Aurora FFA member and State FFA vice president gave the members a pep talk.
“It doesn’t matter what’s before you. You have to lay it all out on the line,” she said.
Advisers Jim Spencer and Craig Grisham recognized top fruit sellers. Fruit is a major fundraiser for the organization. Jared Hickman topped the list by selling $2,814.50. Courtney Spencer followed by selling more than $2,000. Meghan Newbold was the third top seller by selling between $1,500 and $2,000.
Freshman Awards
Spencer presented freshmen with awards for Ag Science I and the Greenhand Award.
