Marionville teachers, administrators and staff honored seniors and high school students on May 13 in an awards program.
Emily Henderson, Niki Kennedy, Tim Kienenberger, Chelsea Metcalf, Macy Miller, Tyler Ruth, Abby Williams and Dominic Zanaboni received college prep certificates.
Dominic Zanaboni, Niki Kennedy, Macy Miller, Abby Williams and Emily Henderson received the George Washington Carver Award.
Scholarships
Tyler Ruth received Army college money in the amount of $83,448, which is the largest amount the Army gives, for enlisting in the Army for explosive disposal, also known as bomb squad.

Missouri Southern State University Regional Science Fair winners were: Brooke Bear -- Mu Alpha Theta Award; Lathe Hopkins, Alex Brinley and Chelsie Kittle -- U.S. Air Force Award; Chelsie Kittle -- third place in behavioral and social science; Niki Kennedy -- U.S. Army Award and third place in chemistry and biochemistry; Heath Hicks -- Yale Science & Engineering Award; and Timothy Kinenbegerger -- second place in plant sciences.

John Grace presented top student awards to Lenka Prileska in art I, Kristi Carr in art II, Ashley Burdett in painting, Niki Kennedy in independent study painting, Chelsea Metcalf in ceramics and Aubree Brown in art history.
MidLakes Conference Art Show winners were: Travis Moore -- second in pastels, Chelsea Metcalf -- second in non-objective abstract, Gavin Calverley second place in silkscreen and computer art, Shaylin Campbell -- third place in pen and ink, Amber Wright -- third place in silkscreen, Nathan Stokes -- third place in computer art, Kristi Carr -- third place in 2D mixed media, Ashley Burdett -- honorable mention in acrylic, Gerson Figueroa -- honorable mention in non-objective abstract and Samantha Smith -- honorable mention in silkscreen.

Kevin Harris presented top student awards for the first semester to: Alex Brinley in American history third hour, Lenka Prileska in American history fifth hour and civics second hour, Brooke Mitchell and Aubree Brown in civics sixth hour, James Vaughn in civics eighth hour and Dominic Zanaboni in psychology seventh hour.
Top students for the second semester were: Alex Brinley in American history third hour, Lenka Prileska in American history fifth hour and geography second hour, Aubree Brown in geography sixth hour, James Vaughn in geography eighth hour and Worthy Morgan in Ozarks history seventh hour.
