An Iowa woman suffered moderate injuries after she fell off the back of a PWC in Salt Hollow cove at the 21-Mile Marker of the Osage Arm early Saturday evening, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol Water Division boating incident report.

An Iowa woman suffered moderate injuries after she fell off the back of a PWC in Salt Hollow cove at the 21-Mile Marker of the Osage Arm early Saturday evening, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol Water Division boating incident report.

Ashley M. Ames, 29, of Keokuk, Iowa, was riding on the back of a 2003 SeaDoo being driven by Brenner K. Duesterhaus, 22, of Quincy, Illinois at approximately 4:15 p.m. on Saturday, August, 27, 2016, when Ames fell off the back as the vessel was coming up to plane.

Ames, who was listed as wearing a safety device, was transported to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach by ambulance, according to the report.

Duesterhaus, who was listed as wearing a safety device, was uninjured.
