Aurora High School 2008 Basketball Homecoming took center stage last Friday night prior to the varsity matchup with East Newton.
This year’s court includes: Brittany Arnold, senior; Bethany Haley, senior; Queen Samantha Gripka, senior; Princess Jen Ellis, junior; Rachel Crockett, freshman; Marissa Westfall, sophomore; Ben Weldin, senior; Shane Lee, senior; King Kevin Kennedy, senior; Josh Myers, freshman; and Korey Besch, sophomore. Chase Howerton, a junior, was crowned prince, but had to head into the locker room for the pre-game activities.
The 2007 Homecoming Queen Taylor Welch and Little Mister and Miss Houn' Dawg were also on hand to assist to assist with coronation ceremonies. This year’s homecoming theme was Hollywood Disasters.
