Missie Medlin and Otis Lambert, both of Aurora, plan to unite in marriage at noon on February 16 at the home of the bride’s grandmother, Jackie Medlin, in Aurora.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Donnie and Dana Medlin of Mt. Vernon and the late Deborah Medlin.

The prospective groom is the son of Violet Overton of Mobley and Otis Lambert of Peace Valley.

Rev. Rex Mooneyham will officiate the service.

The colors of light blue and lavender will accent the bride’s white dress and veil and the groom’s blue suit. The music will feature The Wedding March on bagpipes.

The bride’s daughter, Deborah Berg, will serve as maid of honor, while Douglas Medlin, the brother of the bride, will be the best man.

Daniel Medlin will serve the couple as an usher. Bruce Berg, the son of the bride, and Trenton Medlin, the nephew of the bride, will be the ring bearers.

Jacqueline Breazzeal will attend the guest book. She and Erica Eaton, Dana Reed and Linda Pruitt will assist at the reception.

Tyler Boykin is the D-J for the reception. Christen Beck is the photographer.
The couple plans to honeymoon in Dallas, Texas, and reside in Aurora.
