The Student Council at Aurora High School is hosting a blood drive on Friday, February 12.

The theme is “Bloodstock: Peace, Love and Life.” The event  takes place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., in the Black Box. T-shirts and refreshments will be available. The goal is 100 units.

The blood drive was scheduled earlier,  but had to be rescheduled due to inclement winter weather.

The event is co-sponsored by the AHS Student Council and Community Blood Center of the Ozarks.

Kim McCully-Mobley and Brad Addison are the high school STUCO sponsors.

Patrons must be healthy and weigh at least 110 pounds, said a spokesman.
