Members of Rocking A Saddle Club are hosting their 51st annual rodeo this weekend.
The event is slated for 8 p.m., July 17 through 19, at the rodeo arena on East Church Street/Business 60.
Features of the event include the Pembertons with their trick riding and roping, the club’s local drill team performing nightly and a calf scramble for kids 12 and under.
A parade is set for 5 p.m., Saturday, in downtown Aurora.
Admission is $8 for adults, $3 for ages seven to 12 and free for those six and under. Thursday’s admission is half-price for senior citizens.
Books opened Monday and are available from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., daily by calling 918-458-0030. Permits and locals are accepted.
The rodeo is ACRA and IPRA sanctioned and produced by Barnes and Sons Rodeo company of Talequah, Oklahoma.
Club members have invited the community to attend and enjoy the showmanship and skills of the participants
