February is Library Lovers month and the Aurora Branch Library is celebrating all month!
Staff members are playing their own version of a wheel of fortune game. Stop in, check out two items and get a spin on the wheel.
“We are trying to guess who a famous couple from literature, movies or television is. We have prizes for the winners and fun for everyone who plays. We have one new puzzle every day until the couple’s identity is guessed,” said Martha Pettegrew, branch manager.
The Senior Connection Coffee Club will be getting together on February 27 at 10 a.m.  The group always enjoys a cup of coffee and treats together.  This month Rita Williamson will be present to inform the group about Mercy Hospice.
On the last Saturday, staff members will be showing a new release movie in the community room at 2 p.m.  Popcorn will be served, but everyone needs to bring their own beverage.
“This month we will be showing a classic fairy tale represented in animation form,” said Pettegrew.
As always, there will be a home school program every Tuesday at 2 p.m.  This program is a supplement for the enrichment of children who are being home schooled.
Toddler story time is at 10 a.m. every Wednesday,  and preschool story time is immediately afterwards, at 10:30 a.m.  Everyone is welcome and no registration is necessary.
“We are getting new books and movies all the time. Come on in and see what’s new,” added Pettegrew.
In addition, the Aurora Friends of the Library are signing up memberships to the Friends. Fund raised the Friends go to assist the Aurora branch.
The  Aurora branch library (part of the Barry-Lawrence Regional Library system) is located 202 Jefferson Avenue. For more information, call 678-2036 or visit http:www.tlc.
